Currículum Vitae

In the following LINK.

Optimization Advances in Electric Power Systems.

This book includes some of the most significant present and foreseen optimization applications in electric power systems. Four Fellow Members of IEEE and other relevant academia and industry authors developed optimization techniques in the following areas: state estimation, transmission expansion planning, electricity markets, voltage control, wind power, security stability, optimal placement of equipment, distributed generation and others. All the chapters include algorithms, methods, know-how and examples of applications in real and test systems.

Wind Energy in Electricity Markets with High Wind Penetration

This book includes a detailed description of short term wind power prediction programs, an evaluation of the economic losses due to imbalances incurred by wind generators participating in an electricity market, and optimization strategies aimed at minimizing the consequences of power curtailments.
